Spirits/Entities - A question for all.

i would like to ask a question if i might: how do ones here view spirits?

(not the alcoholic kind) i have left the org.

now for at least 5 years, although i did go to the memorial last year, but not where i used to go to the hall; i was not df or da.. .

Nem, you're just ignorant about your experiences, that's all. What I'm hearing is a bunch of self-pride that gives you denial and a rebellious attitude against someone who can help you.

I don't give a rip about what you think or feel with all that pride I'm hearing. Rationalize it all you want to and call it what you like, but you got the demons on you fella.

Yes, I can see the doctor now. Well, son why don't we just admit that you're schizoid and take a little medicine and you can calm down. Hey, you eat veggies, right? Well now you have a chance to be one.

However, you now know where to get help and what books to read that explain it.

If you want to be dumb about it, it's your life. It's called spiritual warfare, and you have not an inkling of what you are experiencing.

Hey you got all the dumb responses here that anyone could want. So, select one that suits your vanity and attitude. Some people are stupid and proud of it. Some people don't know and don't care that they don't know. Pride is real killer, fella.

i was once counselled by the elders for watching 'knots landing'....it became widely known in the congregation that me and a few other sisters would rush home from field service to watch our favourite soapie.

if we missed it, we would ring each other up for an update...or...if we weren't near a tv we would ask someone to put the phone handset on the top of their tv so we could hear it...pathetic huh...but that was all the excitement we could scrounge up in our otherwise dull and uneventful lives.

one of the elder's wive's conscience got the better of her...and she confessed to her husband..lol.

I went into the kingdom hall library where a sister was looking at some books on the shelf. I greeted her, had a three-minute conversation with her, and then left to go about my business.

The door was open to the library about 12 inches. I was counseled that I should not have been alone with her in the library.

I am now getting entities more and more, and other strange stuff, not evil, or even frightening, just strange, and obviously gaining in power.
How do any of you who have had these experiences [and I’m 101% sure they are not some psychological trauma/stress phenomenon, but real entities],

Actually I had a charismatic dog once. I taught him how to heal. I would say "heal" dog, and sure 'nough, every time; he would sit down.

The pentacostal mind goes far beyond scriptures. This mindset goes from experience to experience rather from scripture to scriptures. It is rampant with demonic influence upon unsuspecting people. I think I read in another thread somewhere that you recomended a Baptist church to someone, does that mean you are Baptist? Once saved always saved?

I believe all of the churches are in big, big trouble--just as some were in Jesus' day. Read about those seven in the first of Revelation.

I recommended a Baptist church because of their teaching the scriptures to some an extent, and they seem to have less religious bondage upon the members.

I believe that once a person is saved they cannot be snatch away from their salvation, based upon scripture. I note that your inquiry is a JW type of question.

Religion is a way of life. We need to accept that and keep going. I believe there will be souls from most denominations in Heaven. We are not chosen because of the denomination we choose but because of the life we live for our Lord Jesus Christ.

May I say Christianity rather than religion? Also, I would agree with you in that the Body Of Christ, the wheat, is within Christendom. We know who we are by the Holy Spirit within us.

I wanted someplace to be re-baptize after I excommunicated the WT. I happened to wind up in a Baptist church where I received help from some good ministers.

I now claim that I am a Christian and my affiliation is the Body Of Christ, not the Baptist denomination. Even within the Baptist group, I had to be selective in finding what I felt was a healthy spiritual group.

As xjw's, those who have found Christ have a wonderful opportunity to help those in these churches who are searching and who are spiritually starving from their lack of knowledge.

As xjw Christians, we are no longer bound by denominational errors and perpetual false traditions, even though we might be surrounded by them within some church we attend. A CHRISTIAN is free in Christ.

What's Your Definition of "Spiritual Need?...

"spiritual need.

" one of the jw's favourite catchphrases.

"we are conscious of our spiritual need" they say in a self-congratulatory way.. "the vast majority are not conscious of their spiritual need" they say in a condemnatory way, to provide some reason why no one listens to them any more.. so what is it?.

"Spiritual Need?...

1. ...what someone would like to have after it is too late.

2. Something the natural man does not know about, such as "the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

This is quite profound.

It explains that a natural man CANNOT KNOW OR EVEN RECOGNIZED spiritual things.
THIS IS WHY THEY CANNOT FIND PROOF or understand when one trys to help them.

How do you know if you're going to heaven?

the only way to go to heaven is believing that jesus christ is god's son, and that he was sent here to earth to die on the cross for our sins.

if you confess him as lord and savior, then and only then, will you be certain that you are going to heaven.
